Phil Summers

Environment and climate change specialist with over 20 years experience working on environmental governance, conservation and forest management. Had been engaged with global forest carbon initiative since 2009 and has been at the forefront of nation REDD+ development programmes in multiple countries working as a national and global advisor with the UN and World Bank. Worked with NGOs and private sector land used project origination and development. Published guides to forest governance and monitoring with FAO and taught courses on climate action and forest carbon at the University of Queensland.
